This crafting company is one of the few that I have found that enjoy an excellent reputation for paying. Beware though, this is not for the faint of heart. And some crafting experience would probably be helpful, but not necessary.

Another source of income for some, is taking surveys. Some people make hundreds of dollars a month doing solely surveys, while others (like me) bring in just a few dollars every month.

One of the most proliferate type of homebased employment in telephone work. It can consist of incoming or outgoing calls or, often a combination of the two.

Writer

There are many ways to be paid as a writer. The most commonly known way is to write some type of book or article and find a publisher.

Some companies, however, will hire you to write about whatever you want and submit it for payment.

Medical Billing and Coding

Medical billing is the practice of submitting claims to Insurance companies or the United States government, specifically Medicare in order to receive payment for services provided to a patient by a medical doctor or other licenced health care provider. Bureau of Labor Statistics (US Department of Labor) projects that medical information and claims processing will continue to grow much faster than other occupations throughout the year 2014. Unfortunately, it is difficult to get a homebased position without experience so you may have to work in an office for a year or two.

Most employers prefer to hire Registered Health Information Technicians (RHIT), who must pass a written examination offered by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). To take the examination, a person must graduate from a 2-year associate degree program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). Technicians trained in non-CAHIIM-accredited programs or trained on the job are not eligible to take the examination. In 2005, CAHIIM accredited 184 programs for health information technicians.

Data Entry

Data entry is one the hardest jobs to find for online work because it is in such high-demand. In addition, there are alot of scams going under the name "data entry". There are a few exceptions that I know of, however.
